How We Check Our Guides
The Worth-It Map is built around one promise: make the difference between what we know, what we checked, and what can change easy to see.
Walked & Checked
This label means a route, location, or specific detail was checked in person. We aim to show the date and the exact scope of the check. Walking to a hotel does not mean we stayed there, tested its rooms, or verified every entrance and accessibility feature.
Research Guide
This label means the article relies on research rather than a claimed personal visit. We aim to use official operators, tourism authorities, and clearly identified sources where possible. Information from a source is not presented as a first-hand observation.
Prices, times, and availability
Hotel prices, transport schedules, entry rules, opening hours, and availability may change. When we publish figures, we aim to give the conditions and the date checked. Please confirm the live details with the relevant operator before you book or travel.
Honest comparisons
Our comparisons are organized around relevant, consistent criteria — such as location, travel time, cost, and suitability for different travelers. One option is not automatically the right choice for everyone. We explain important drawbacks rather than forcing a winner.
Photos and AI assistance
We aim to use our own photographs or appropriately licensed material. AI tools may help with drafting, language editing, or production, but we do not present generated scenes as documentary evidence of a real place or visit.
Corrections
If you notice an outdated detail or a mistake, please contact theworthitmap@gmail.com with the article title and a source if possible. We review corrections and update affected articles when appropriate.
