I’m Sanghee, based in central Seoul near Namsan. I started The Worth-It Map to help visitors make better decisions about their time and money in Seoul.

The best part of a trip is discovering somewhere you genuinely want to be. The difficult part is deciding what deserves a place in your itinerary — and which area, route, or stay will work for you.

Here, you’ll find practical guides to Seoul’s neighborhoods, experiences, and places to stay. Some articles come from routes I have personally walked and recorded. Others are research-based guides built from published sources, official information, and clearly dated comparisons. I label the difference because a map check is not the same as an overnight hotel stay.

I aim to show both the appeal and the catch: what might work for one traveler, what might not work for another, and which details you should verify before making a booking or setting out.

This is an independent travel-information project. It is not an official city tourism service or a hotel booking agency.
